Brexit has led to a greater need on the part of foreign market participants to find out about the possibility of accessing the European capital market by way of a securities prospectus approved by the Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (Bundesanstalt für Finanzdienstleistungsaufsicht – BaFin).

To this end, BaFin is hosting a workshop in which it will provide information about the possible consequences of Brexit for issuers as well as the main legal and practical aspects of BaFin's prospectus approval process. The workshop will also explain the particular features of the prospectus process for small and medium-sized enterprises and will answer market participants' questions. Workshop participants are welcome to send in questions with their registration.
