On 11 May 2018, the Federal Office of Justice (Bundesamt für Justiz – BfJ) imposed a total of four disciplinary fines amounting to 2,500 euros each against Deutsche Cannabis AG.

The disciplinary fine orders related to breaches of section 325 of the German Commercial Code (HandelsgesetzbuchHGB) by Deutsche Cannabis AG. Deutsche Cannabis AG had failed to submit its consolidated accounting documents for the financial years 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016 for the purpose of disclosure to the operator of the German Federal Gazette (Bundesanzeiger) in electronic form within the prescribed period. The legal basis for the sanctions is section 335 of the HGB.

The disciplinary fine orders are already final and conclusive.

Update: 8 January 2019

On 1 November 2018 Deutsche Cannabis AG lodged a complaint against the disciplinary fine order.
