On 4 July 2022, BaFin imposed administrative fines totalling 11,290,000 euros on Steinhoff International Holdings N.V.
The sanction related to breaches of section 114 (1) sentence 1 of the German Securities Trading Act (Wertpapierhandelsgesetz – WpHG) and section 130 (1) of the German Act on Breaches of Administrative Regulations (Ordnungswidrigkeitengesetz – OWiG) in conjunction with section 40 (1) sentence 1 WpHG.
Steinhoff International Holdings N.V. failed to make its annual financial report for the financial year 2016/2017 publicly available within the prescribed period.
Furthermore, Steinhoff International Holdings N.V. failed to publish voting rights notifications within the prescribed period.
The company may lodge an appeal against the administrative fine order.

The administrative fine order is final and binding.
