The Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin) has expanded its investigation into the case of identity theft against Swiss Financial Services AG. BaFin has ascertained that emails from the unknown perpetrators refer to the website swiss-financial.org. This is a clone of the website of Swiss Financial Services AG and is therefore a further instance of identity theft against Swiss Financial Services AG.

BaFin informed the public on 6 March 2024 that it is investigating this case.
