The Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin) warns consumers about the services offered on the website viennacapai.com. According to information available to BaFin, the operator is providing financial and investment services on this website without the required authorisation.
The operators of the website refer to themselves only as ViennaCapAi without stating the company’s legal form. They claim that the website is owned by the company Netming Limited. An incomplete business address is provided on the website. It is not clear in which country/city this address is located. It is also claimed that the website is authorised and regulated by an EU organisation referred to as the “Financial Certification Organization”. No such organisation exists.
Netming Limited is already known as the operator of another website. A company named Netming Limited is registered with the UK’s Companies House. However, this company was dissolved in 2023.
Anyone conducting banking business or providing financial or investment services in Germany may do so only with authorisation from BaFin. However, some companies offer these services without the necessary authorisation. Information on whether a particular company has been authorised by BaFin can be found in BaFin’s database of companies.
Theinformation provided by BaFin is based on section 37 (4) of the German Banking Act (Kreditwesengesetz – KWG).

BaFin, the German Federal Criminal Police Office (Bundeskriminalamt – BKA) and the German state criminal police offices (Landeskriminalämter) recommend that consumers seeking to invest money online should exercise the utmost caution and do the necessary research beforehand in order to identify fraud attempts at an early stage.
