The Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin) warns consumers about the services offered on the website robofund.net. BaFin has information that Amundi Management Ltd., St. Lucia, is providing financial and investment services on this website without the required authorisation.

The operators of the website refer to themselves as RoboFund. The "Terms and Conditions” indicate that Amundi Management Ltd. is the company responsible. BaFin already issued a warning about the website swissmontwealth.com on 20 November 2024. Much of the content and structure of robofund.net is very similar – and in parts even identical – to swissmontwealth.com. Both operators claim to be based at the same business address in St. Lucia. Both websites display the opening sentence: “Access the Global Markets with [website name] – From Forex to Stocks”.

Anyone providing financial or investment services in Germany may do so only with authorisation from BaFin. However, some companies offer these services without the necessary authorisation. Information on whether particular companies have been authorised by BaFin can be found in BaFin’s database of companies.

Theinformation provided by BaFin is based on section 37 (4) of the German Banking Act (KreditwesengesetzKWG).

Please be aware:

BaFin, the German Federal Criminal Police Office (BundeskriminalamtBKA) and the German state criminal police offices (Landeskriminalämter) recommend that consumers seeking to invest money online should exercise the utmost caution and do the necessary research beforehand in order to identify fraud attempts at an early stage.
