The Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin) warns consumers about a series of almost identical websites. According to information available to BaFin, the operators are providing financial, investment and cryptoasset services on these websites without the required authorisation.
These websites all display the following introductory statement: "Revolutionize your crypto trading/investments with [name of website]”. The websites do not give any indications of the operators’ registered offices. They claim that their business relations with customers are subject to French law.
To date, BaFin has become aware of the following websites in this regard:
- argentisgridgpt.org, Argentis Grid GPT
- xyvrenpeak-gpt.org, Xyvren Peak GPT
- investaqgpt.com, InvestaQ GPT
- loonietradeaiproapp.net, LoonieTrade Ai Pro App
- vornox-drive-gpt.com, Vornox Drive GPT
- ravnikcoreapp.com, Ravnik Core App
- omnexisforgeapp.org, Omnexis Forge App
- thryvon-bolt-app.com, Thryvon Bolt Apper
Anyone providing financial, investment or cryptoasset services in Germany may do so only with authorisation from BaFin. However, some companies offer these services without the necessary authorisation. Information on whether a particular company has been granted authorisation by BaFin can be found in BaFin’s database of companies.
BaFin is issuing this information on the basis of section 37 (4) of the German Banking Act (Kreditwesengesetz – KWG) and section 10 (7) of the German Cryptomarkets Supervision Act (Kryptomärkteaufsichtsgesetz).
Please be aware:
BaFin, the German Federal Criminal Police Office (Bundeskriminalamt – BKA) and the German state criminal police offices (Landeskriminalämter) recommend that consumers seeking to invest money online should exercise the utmost caution and do the necessary research beforehand in order to identify fraud attempts at an early stage.
