Erscheinung:03.06.2025 | Topic Unauthorised business, Consumer protection BaFin warns consumers about almost identical websites

The Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin) warns consumers about a series of almost identical websites. According to information available to BaFin, the operators are providing financial services on these websites without the required authorisation.

These websites all display the following introductory statement: "Your Trusted Narrow Spread platform – [name of website] is a global company in the United States, providing customers with a wide range of OTC CFD products covering futures, precious metals, energy, and commodities.”. The websites do not give any indications of the operators’ registered offices. The website operators claim to be US-based companies and state that they are under the supervision of American financial supervisory authorities.

To date, BaFin has become aware of the following websites in this regard:

  • xhproltd.com, XH PRO GLOBAL LIMITED
  • ubsdfxmarts.com, UBSD FX GROUP LIMITED
  • tdcfx.com, UBSD FX GROUP LIMITED
  • macrobee.com, MACRO GLOBAL LIMITED
  • growthsavings.com, GROWTH CAPITAI LIMITED
  • sfocl-global.com, SFOCL GROUP LIMITED
  • glorioilfx.com, GOLDONLINE GLOBAL LIMITED
  • ftkmd.com, FTK GLOBAL INVESTMENT CO. LTD
  • bgamfx.com, BGAMFX GROUP LIMITED
  • beaumont-fx.com, BEAUMONT GLOBAL LIMITED
  • beaumontfx.com, ABANS GLOBAL LTD

Anyone providing financial or investment services in Germany may do so only with authorisation from BaFin. However, some companies offer these services without the necessary authorisation. Information on whether a particular company has been granted authorisation by BaFin can be found in BaFin’s database of companies.

BaFin is issuing this information on the basis of section 37 (4) of the German Banking Act (Kreditwesengesetz – KWG).

Please be aware:

BaFin, the German Federal Criminal Police Office (BundeskriminalamtBKA) and the German state criminal police offices (Landeskriminalämter) recommend that consumers seeking to invest money online should exercise the utmost caution and do the necessary research beforehand in order to identify fraud attempts at an early stage.
