The Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin) warns consumers about offers on the website aurum-fix-corp-com. Aurum-Fix, which is allegedly based in Barcelona, Spain, offers via its website financial, investment and crypto asset services without an authorization.
The operator of this website only appears under the name Aurum-Fix without specifying its legal form. He claims to be licensed with a “European Financial Security” FINA EU. This authority does not exist and is fictitious.
Financial, investment and crypto asset services may only be offered in Germany if the company providing these services has the necessary authorisation from BaFin to do this. However, some companies offer these services without the required authorisation. Information on whether particular companies have been authorised by BaFin can be found in BaFin’s database of companies.
