The financial supervisory authority BaFin warns against fixed-term deposit offers from the alleged FALCON Vermögensverwaltung AG also via the falcon-vip.de website. On 21 November 2024, BaFin had already pointed out the misuse of the identity of FALCON Vermögensverwaltung AG, which was previously supervised by BaFin, and warned against website falcon-vermoegensverwaltung.de
Anyone providing financial or investment services in Germany may do so only with authorisation from BaFin. However, some companies offer these services without the necessary authorisation.
The information provided by BaFin is based on section 37 (4) of the German Banking Act (Kreditwesengesetz – KWG).
